The tenth annual Health Fair was held on May 3, 2018. Students had a brief time to present their topics to the Menominee staff and fellow study body guests. North Central Area Vocational Cooperative Health Careers Students from Plymouth High School presented health-related topics, in a fun hands-on kid-friendly way.

Below are some of the health topics addressed.

  • Health Jeopardy
  • Wheelchair Races
  • First Aid/Safety
  • Dental Hygiene
  • Anti-Bullying
  • Poison Control
  • Car Accident Prevention
  • Exercise and Wellness
  • Healthy Eating
  • Hand Washing
  • Personal Hygiene
  • What to do in an Emergency?

Students also learned about fire safety. A team of PHS, LHS, THS, and JG Health Careers students presented how to react in case of fire emergencies; stop, drop, and roll. A special thank you to Physical Education Teacher Mike Kershner, Music Teacher Mrs. Witmer, and Health Careers Instructor Jona Cartwright, B.S.N., R.N., for making the day possible for our Menominee students and PHS students.
