Blueberry Festival Parking Help Needed Information

Our Webster PTO is in desperate need of volunteers to help direct cars and collect money during the Blueberry Festival, which is actually a lot of fun! For those not aware, Webster makes a profit from coordinating volunteers to help with parking at the Amphitheater during the Blueberry Festival weekend.

We are responsible to find workers on Friday and Sunday. We ask volunteers to work three hour shift. You can bring your family or friends to help as well. Any amount of time is appreciated, even for an hour or two.

Blueberry parking is our largest fundraiser of the year. Our PTO uses the money to pay for things that support your child, such as: field trips, Winter Wonderland, Fun Fair, classroom incentives, 4th grade choir and 1st grade 100 book club shirts, and so much more! If we can't find enough help, we could lose our contract with the Blueberry Festival and that would really hurt our PTO's ability to pay for the items listed above, as well as other things that directly benefit your child. We could end up having to ask parents to pay for the items our PTO has been paying for or we might have to cut out some of the events like Winter Wonderland and Fun Fair that our Webster families enjoy.

If you are able to help, you can stop by the Webster office to sign up, or call our office and we can assist you with open time slots. You can also email or call Kim Olivarez, our PTO president, at 574-780-6115 or email her at: [email protected]. Tabatha Standeford, the PTO vice president, can be reached at 574-229-2877 or via email: [email protected], or Keri Mersch, the PTO secretary, can be reached at 574-952-4068.
