Ann Riggs

Ann Riggs will be teaching first grade at Washington Discovery Academy this year. She graduated from University of Northern Iowa with her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and received a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Ball State. This will be Mrs. Riggs’ 20th year as a teacher. Ann, her husband, Michael, and sons, Pierce and Braxton, enjoy traveling during school breaks. They have a goal to reach all 50 states together and have made some great memories in 28 of the states so far. When she isn’t at school or traveling, you will find her cheering on her boys at soccer, basketball, golf, baseball or flag football.
