On Monday, the 8th grade girls basketball "B" team hosted the Lady Panthers from Northwood. The team played with focus as they capitalized on creating turnovers with their press and defensive pressure to take a 12-3 lead into halftime. The Red Storm continued with good ball movement, solid defense, and beautiful passing to beat Northwood 27-7. Leading the way for the Lady Red Storm was Paige Feece with 11 points, while Megyn Mann contributed 6 points. Amaya Ameling added four key points while Lauren Manges, Elaina McDonald and Jaylee Ramirez had two points.
Next up for the 8th Grade Lady Red Storm will be a road trip to Edgewood Tuesday night followed by a home matchup versus Lakeview.
