Plymouth High School will host a FAFSA® (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) workshop for parents and students on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will take place in the PHS Studio Theater. Please park in the front PHS parking lot and enter through Door 1.

FAFSA® is the document used to apply for both federal and state aid. It is also the document used to determine the dollar amount a family is expected to contribute toward the cost of their child's education. The FAFSA® document will be discussed in great detail. Completing and submitting the FAFSA® form is free and it gives you access to the largest source of financial aid to pay for college or career school.

This event is sponsored by the PHS Guidance Department and the PHS College and Career Center. Representatives from both Ancilla College and Ivy Tech College will be present to help answer questions for parents and students.

The 2018–19 FAFSA® form became available on Oct. 1, 2017, while the 2019–20 FAFSA® form will be available on Oct. 1, 2018. There are different FAFSA® deadlines for various programs. To find out more about FAFSA® attend Tuesday’s meeting or visit https://fafsa.ed.gov/.
