Welcome to Plymouth!

“As part of our overall approach to safety, Student Reunification Training is vital to ensure students and parents can be brought back together should one of our buildings ever require evacuation,” said Ward Byers, PCSC Director of Safety and Security.

As we wrap up the break, we’re reflecting on a semester filled with learning, growth, and the moments that make PCSC special. ♥️
We’re grateful for our students, staff, families, and community — and we’re excited to welcome students back to school tomorrow as we continue to make unforgettable memories together.

The SEED Club proudly hosted the 12th Annual Give Back for Christmas at Plymouth High School from December 1–12. Students donated non-perishable food and toiletry items through their 5th-period classes, all benefiting the Marshall County Neighborhood Center. Teachers also generously contributed items and monetary donations.
Thanks to this incredible effort, PHS collected over 1,000 items and $255! 👏
Top classes included:
• Mrs. Edmiston’s class – 9.5 items per student
• Mr. Ames’s class – 9.1 items per student
• Mr. Nordmann’s class – 8.4 items per student
All donations were delivered to the Marshall County Neighborhood Center on December 16, 2025. Thank you to our students and staff for showing what the PHS community is all about! ♥️

Co-sponsored by Kaley Alber and me, our club meets once a month to teach students how to make delicious, affordable, from-scratch meals at home. So far, we’ve cooked everything from chicken stir fry to cookies, pies, and pasta.
With rising food costs, we were in need of support to keep our monthly lessons going. Thanks to Ward Byers for reaching out to Chris at Christo’s, we received exactly the help we needed! 🙌
We’re grateful for the generosity and excited to keep cooking! 👩🍳✨

We are grateful for this opportunity to collaborate and strengthen school safety and preparedness statewide.
SRO Bridget Hite stated, "The training for regional advanced school safety—both before and after school—is incredibly important. It provided a big-picture understanding of what to look for when assessing student safety. The speaker offered ideas that will help me make positive changes as a parent, a leader, and someone involved in our community.”

Cpl. Travis Schieber spent the day teaching our Year 1 Criminal Justice students alongside the Year 2 students.
Together, they learned practical defensive tactics and skills they may need in everyday life. The hands-on instruction gave students valuable experience and a better understanding of how to stay safe and respond effectively in real-world situations.
