🛡️❤️ PCSC Safety & Security: Working Together for Our Students
Keeping our students safe, healthy, and ready to learn takes more than one person — it takes continued learning, strong relationships, and collaboration across our community!
Recently, PCSC School Resource Officer Bridget Hite traveled to Indianapolis to attend a conference hosted by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security’s Office of School Safety. Opportunities like these help our safety professionals continue learning, strengthen their skills, and bring valuable knowledge back to our schools.
Closer to home, PCSC Director of Safety and Security Ward Byer participated in a community meeting hosted by the Marshall County Health Department with Indiana State Health Commissioner Dr. Lindsay Weaver. Ward shared about the collaborative relationship between PCSC and the Health Department and how these partnerships help us support the health and well-being of our students.
From strengthening school safety practices to building partnerships that promote student wellness, our Safety and Security team is committed to creating environments where every student can feel safe, supported, and ready to succeed.
We’re proud of the work happening behind the scenes and grateful for the community partnerships that help make it possible. Together, we're building a safer, healthier future for our PCSC students! ❤️

What a MILE-stone of a day! 🐎♥️
Last Friday, our Menominee Mustangs hit the ground running at the Mustang Mile! 🏃♀️🏃♂️
Students ran their miles, collected a bracelet for every mile they completed, enjoyed some well-earned popsicles 🍧, and packed the day with plenty of fun — from outdoor games and parachute fun in the gym to making the most of the day even when a little sprinkle rolled through! 🌦️
And the best part? Our students, staff and volunteer parents were all having just as much fun as the kids!
A huge thank-you to our Menominee PTO for putting together such a fun event and raising money to help make all of the special activities and experiences throughout the school year possible!
Miles, smiles, popsicles and Mustang spirit, sounds like a pretty great Friday to us! 🐎♥️🍧

🎶❤️ A Little Music, A BIG Message! ❤️🎶
Our Washington Discovery Academy students had a special visit today from Steve Seskin, co-writer of the powerful song “Don’t Laugh at Me” and the author of seven #1 songs! 🎤✨
Through music, stories and meaningful conversations, Steve helped our students explore bullying prevention, kindness, empathy and the importance of treating others with respect.
Sometimes a song can say what words alone can’t, and today, our students were reminded that the way we treat one another matters.
A huge thank-you to Honeywell Arts in Education for bringing Steve to WDA and helping us create an experience our students can learn from and carry with them long after the music stops.
🎶 Be kind. Be considerate. Be someone who makes others feel like they belong. ❤️🖤

⚽❤️ 25 Years of the Kindt SoccerPlex
Last night was about more than a soccer match. It was a celebration of 25 years of the Kindt SoccerPlex and the generosity of a family whose support helped create a place that has become an important part of Plymouth soccer.
We were honored to recognize the Kindt family: Mr. Don Kindt, Mrs. Barbara Kindt, and Ms. Devin Kindt, as we celebrated 25 years of the facility that has welcomed generations of PHS soccer players, coaches, families, and fans.
The evening brought together past administrators, PHS soccer alumni, former and current coaches, current soccer student-athletes, families, and a wonderful crowd from our community to celebrate this special milestone.
For 25 years, the Kindt SoccerPlex has been a place where athletes have competed, teammates have grown together, families have gathered, and countless memories have been made. ❤️
We are grateful to the Kindt family for the generosity and vision that helped make this facility possible and for the lasting impact their gift has had on generations of Plymouth soccer.
25 years of memories. One incredible legacy. And many more moments still to come. ⚽🏟️❤️
