Juniors:  It’s time for you to begin preparing for your SENIOR year.  This week, we will be conducting our College & Career Conversations Workshops with you.  Here are things you need to do/know before you come to your appointment:

Appointment Schedule:  Please make sure you know when to arrive at your appointment, which will take place on the upper deck of the Varsity Gym.  You can find your app’t on this doc by looking at the “By Alpha Order” tab. Bring your computer, your completed course selection sheet (which you will receive in your English class on Monday, Nov 27), and any questions/concerns you may have to your app’t.

Course Description Book 18-19: As you fill out your course selection sheet, you can review course descriptions here.

Indiana College & Career Pathways and Pathway Courses by Cluster:  Please consider your Career Plans and review here what courses you should be considering.  Remember PHS may not offer all of these.  Talk to your counselor if you have questions specific to careers.  Also, please consider if taking a multi-hour vocational course would be to your benefit.  You can review courses offered at the North Central Area Vocational Cooperative website

Junior Survey:  Please complete this survey by the 3:15 on Monday, November 27 so that we can be well prepared to help you.  As you choose classes for 18-19, it is very important that you have a career pathway in mind.

    • For JUNIORS, it is also the test that qualifies one for National Merit Scholarships

You should have received a PSAT Student Guide in your Home Room on the day we did Pre-Administration work.  If you did not, or you would like another, you can pick up a Student Guide in the Guidance Office.  It will help you be better prepared to test.

  • FRESHMEN will be participating in College & Career Conversation Workshops the morning of PSAT testing.  More information to follow soon.
  • Picture Retakes are Tuesday, September 26 from 10:30am - 12:30pm in the North hallway.  You can pick up a form from your Home Room Teacher or get one in the front office.
