This scholarship is given to a student who is planning on continuing their education in a vocational trade and technical career area.

Hunter Brandt Memorial Outstanding Senior Stage Crew Student Scholarship – $500

Must have a minimum of 6 credits in Stage Crew classes.(Does not include the beginning technical theatre class.)  Must have crewed for a minimum of 2 children’s show performances.  (Does not include crewing for the beginning technical theatre class.)

Must be attending an accredited vocational, technical, or nursing school. Three scholarships awarded.

Compton Engineering Scholarship Fund – $500

Scholarship recipients must major in engineering at an accredited four year public or private institution of higher learning.

James R. Cook PHS Class of 1961 Scholarship Fund – $350

Awarded to a Plymouth High School graduate who is planning to attend a vocational or trade school in the state of Indiana. Student must be a B/C student.

Staff Sergeant Justin DeCrow Memorial Scholarship – $400
Use Common Application
Must be a senior with a GPA. of 2.5 or higher and must have community service experience.  This scholarship is non-renewable and to be used for higher education expenses.

Delta Theta Tau Scholarship – $1000

Applicants must plan to attend an accredited college, school, of nursing, or vocational school in Indiana next year.

Todd Edwards Memorial Scholarship  – $800

Preference is given to students who have taken art and music classes.
Applicants must plan to attend a 4 year college or art school.

Felke's Finest In Flowers L.L.C. – $500 
Use Common Application
This scholarship is a one-time grant. Must be considering a major in a horticultural related field. Most important is an interest in the retail components of a flower shop and greenhouse including flower arranging, sales, public relations, receiving stock, delivery, and plant management.

Katherine E. Garn Scholarship  – $200

Must be a graduating senior who will study at an accredited college or university in the fall of 2018.

Walter A. Glaub/MCIA Scholarship – $1000

Given to a Marshall County high school senior.  Applicants must plan to attend an accredited college, trade or technical school during the coming school year.

Beatrice I. Goss Scholarship Fund –  $ Varies $

Must be a resident of Marshall County and be attending a college, university, vocational school, or private study program.  The award will be based upon academic record, character, financial need, and musical ability (when applicable).

Timothy J. Hochstetler Scholarship – $600 each
Use Common Application   
Award must be applied towards expenses in an accredited college or institution of advanced training.  Two scholarships will be awarded to either a senior male or female who has shown outstanding performance in athletics; Male applicants must letter in baseball, football, or wrestling.  Female applicants must letter in any sport.

Sanford O. Jacox Memorial Scholarship – $500

To be applied towards educational expenses. Preference given to students ranking below the top 10% of the class who plan to attend an accredited institution in either the field of industrial tech or vocational education.

Nancy Jaynes Scholarship Fund – $900
Use Common Application
Must plan to further his/her studies in Family and Consumer Science or Culinary Arts at an accredited public or private institution of higher learning. Must possess a positive attitude with a compassion for helping others. Preference will be given to a student who participates in community service related to cancer awareness.

Robert E. Kirkley Memorial Engineering Scholarship – $400
Use Common Application
Awarded to a graduating student who is pursuing an Engineering education. Must attend a fully accredited 4-year engineering or engineering tech program at a college or university. GPA must be 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
Also, SAT must be 1000 or above or ACT minimum score of 27.

Kiwanis Ancilla College Scholarship – $1000

Must belong to Key Club and has met the Key Club standards.

Kiwanis Legacy Scholarship-Kiwanis Club of Plymouth Child or Grandchild – $1000

Kiwanis Troy Gambrel Memorial Scholarship – $1000

Knights of Columbus – $500

Given to a senior who is a practicing Catholic active in St. Michael's or St. Mary's of the Lake Parish. Must be applied towards an accredited college, university, trade or technical school in 2018/2019 school year.

Michael Noel Magee Scholarship Fund – Minimum of $1000 Renewable
Use Common Application Plus Attachment
Scholarship shall be a renewable as determined by the selection committee for a Plymouth High School Class of 2018 graduate who will attend a trade or technical school program, apprenticeship program or a two or four-year college or university.

Marohn Scholarship – $500
Use Common Application Plus Attachment
Three are given. Must be applied towards expenses in an accredited trade or technical school. Show proof of acceptance into a post-secondary school that is goal oriented in the Vocational Trades area. Applicants must be resident of and attend a Marshall County high school.

Marshall County Blueberry Festival Scholarship – $500
Use Common Application
Three scholarships will be awarded. Student must have a strong background in community service and extracurricular activities with special attention given to volunteer time during the Blueberry Festival in parking or helping before, during, or after the festival. Recipient must be a Marshall County resident.

Juan Marquez Memorial Scholarship – $ Varies $

Must be an outstanding Latino or Latina who is going on to college or an accredited vocational school.

Preference is given to students who rank below the top 10% of the class and will be attending an accredited vocational school. Students planning to attend a college or university may also apply.

Crystal M. Metsker Scholarship – $1000

Two scholarships are given each year. Applicants must attend an accredited university, trade or vocational school in Indiana.

Fred Morrow Memorial Scholarship – $500

Marian and Stephen Wayne Munn Agriculture Scholarship – $ Varies $

Must be majoring in agriculture.

Sergeant Jason L. Nemeth Memorial Scholarship – $400

Scholarship recipient must be a graduating senior having achieved a high school cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Ounce of Prevention Scholarship – $1,000

This scholarship is to benefit anyone who has been touched by cancer or has been an active volunteer for the “Ounce Of Prevention Breast Cancer Fund” in Plymouth, IN.  Must be enrolled at an accredited college, university, trade or vocational school for the fall.

Payne Stewart/Pretty Lake Golf Club Scholarship – $500

This scholarship has been created in honor of the legendary golfer Payne Stewart and the many great qualities he possessed. Must have completed minimum of two athletic seasons on the high school golf team during high school career and have not committed any violations of IHSAA or School’s Code of Conduct.

Robert P. Pickell Memorial Scholarship Fund – $700

This scholarship has been created in honor of Robert P. Pickell. Must be a Plymouth High School senior residing in Marshall County, Indiana. The applicant must be a graduating senior with a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA), intending to pursue music education as a full-time student from any accredited four year institution. Preference may be given to a student planning to attend Ball State University. The award will be merit based. Two letters of recommendation may be required in addition to an essay on the student's goals for the future.

Given to one student who is attending a 2-4 year college and majoring in business. Must have been involved with Business Professionals of America.

Plymouth High School Construction Technology Scholarship – $ Varies $

Must have been in the building trades program or in secondary industrial education and is in pursuit of post-secondary education in the construction field.

Must be attending an accredited college, university, school of nursing or technical  school.
Applicants must have taken Spanish class and currently be a member of PHS Spanish Club.

PHS Outstanding Senior Acting Student Scholarship –  $500

Must have a minimum of 6 credits in the Acting level classes.  (Does not include either of the two beginning theatre classes.)  Must have acted in a minimum of 2 children’s show performances.  (Does not include performing in beginning theatre class.)

Plymouth Optimist Club Scholarship – $1000 Renewable

Applicants must plan to attend an accredited college, university, school of nursing, or vocational school. Applicants must be a Plymouth High School recipient. Must earn a Core 40 or Academic Honors Diploma. Must be in the top 1/3 of the class. Consideration will be given to academic success, character, financial need, and service to PHS and the community.

Ray L. Price Scholarship – Minimum of $2000 Renewable

Must be a graduate of Plymouth High School, a homeschooled or online student who has successfully achieved high school equivalency and resides in Center or West Township, Marshall County, Indiana. The applicant must plan to be a full-time student enrolled at an accredited two or four year college, university or technical school with an interest in pursuing a higher level of certification or degree in education, ministry, or horticulture. The applicant must have maintained a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA and shall demonstrate potential for college success by virtue of recommendation.

William E. Shemberger Music Scholarship – $2000

Must be attending an accredited college or institution of advanced training.  Applicants must have shown outstanding abilities in the area of instrumental music.

Health Career Scholarship – $2000

Must be a resident of Marshall County, attend a college, university, or technical school, and be majoring in a qualifying healthcare profession which could be Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Pre-Med, or Pre-Dental.

Open to Plymouth High School seniors planning to attend an accredited college/university or trade school.  Applicants must have attended St. Michael School and participated in at least 1 Inter-City Catholic League (ICCL) sport. Two scholarships will be given.

Craig Woolfington Memorial Scholarship – $1000

Must be a permanent resident of Marshall County and in the graduating class of 2018. Applicant must be attending Purdue University (full-time) in the fall of 2018. Must be in the top 25% of class and must demonstrate participation in school and extra-curricular activities.
