Pictured is Mrs. Jessika Knepp, new CTE Agriculture teacher at Plymouth High School, with Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter!
Mrs. Knepp is excited to deepen her roots in the Plymouth community. She lives on her family farm in Plymouth with her husband and three children. Outside of school, you’ll find her in the barn or at livestock shows, where her family competes with cattle on county, state, and national levels—allowing them to travel across the U.S. Her background in agriculture, combined with her degree in Business Administration, brings valuable experience to our students. She has thoroughly enjoyed the last few months at PHS!

Pictured is Mrs. Joely Garmon, new 4th-grade teacher this year at Menominee Elementary School, with Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter!
Mrs. Garmon graduated from Indiana University of South Bend with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a concentration in Early Childhood Education. She loves spending time with her husband, Aaron, and their son, Julian. Together, they enjoy swimming, going to the beach, and traveling to Mexico for Christmas. Mrs. Garmon also loves baking with her son and creating delicious treats. Welcome to the team, Mrs. Garmon!


⭐ New Teacher Spotlight ⭐ Pictured is Mrs. Schae Henneberger, second-grade teacher at Webster Elementary School, with Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter! Mrs. Henneberger, a proud Webster alumna, is excited to return to the school where her educational journey began. She lives in town with her husband, Tim, and also serves as the head coach for the Lincoln Junior High cheerleading team. With a deep passion for teaching that started at a young age, Mrs. Henneberger brings three years of experience as a preschool support teacher for PCSC. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves to travel. Mrs. Henneberger is eager to continue learning and growing, and she aims to create a classroom environment where curiosity thrives and every child feels valued and supported. Welcome back to Webster, Mrs. Henneberger!

We appreciate the Plymouth Fire Department for bringing the Safe House program to our elementary schools each year! The program educates our students on fire safety in a setting that mimics home.



Congratulations to Allison Shook, President of the Plymouth Community School Corporation School Board, for being named School Board Member of the Year for 2024 by the Indiana School Boards Association (ISBA)! 🎉
Allie’s leadership and dedication to our schools and community have been truly transformative. From spearheading solar energy projects and redistricting efforts to advocating for PreK programs and launching the Marshall County Career Innovation Center, her impact has been far-reaching. We are proud to have her championing the future of our students.

Last week at Plymouth High School, Judge Matthew Sarber presented to our Dual Credit and regular Government classes, as well as Dual Credit U.S. History, in honor of Voter Registration Day. Representatives from the Secretary of State’s office and the Clerk’s office were also on campus to help students register to vote and discuss civic engagement!

Ms. Musselman graduated in 2024 from Grace College with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and is passionate about working with and educating children. When she's not in the classroom, she enjoys spending time outdoors, being with her family, reading, and listening to music.

Pictured is Ms. Casi Painton, now in her thirteenth year of teaching, with Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter!
Ms. Painton is excited to begin her first year teaching second grade. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her son and daughter. Together, they love taking small day trips, playing games, and having Friday movie nights. Their household is complete with a precious dog, a bunny, and a flock of chickens!

While students participated in an asynchronous eLearning day, our staff engaged in professional development. In the morning, EL Facilitator Ryan Ahlrich led a session for educators working with English Language Learners (ELL). The session focused on understanding current ELL policies and laws, analyzing the WIDA Framework and the "PCSC Can Do Model," and exploring effective classroom differentiation strategies to better support ELL students.


Monday, September 16, 2024 is PCSC’s first scheduled asynchronous eLearning day of the school year.
