PCSC Libraries Information
PCSC is proud of its library collections and their positive impact on our students. Each PCSC building offers a print and digital library for staff and students. Our print collection in each building is our core collection and can be accessed for all buildings at the link below:
Our digital library from OverDrive is accessible via the Sora app. Based upon grade level students are granted age-appropriate access. PK-5th grade students have access to Juvenile. 6th-8th grade students can access both Juvenile and Young Adult. Staff and students in grades 9-12 can access Juvenile, YA, and Adult content-level titles. Titles below are purchased exclusively for PCSC users.
PCSC is also part of a consortium of schools “Northeast Indiana Schools Shared Digital Collection”. Our staff and students share access with users of member schools to a shared consortium collection via Sora. This greatly enhances the offerings and reading opportunities for our users.
PCSC users can opt-in for access to the “Indiana Digital Library”. This access is granted by public libraries statewide and through a partnership with our local Plymouth Public Library. Titles our users access through the IDL are again limited to their grade level and restricted to Juvenile PK-5th and Young Adult for all other users. Students wishing to access content above YA are encouraged to seek a library card from PPL where they can get both print and digital offerings. Please note that PCSC does not curate the content available to IDL users.
Comments, questions or concerns regarding our offerings can be sent to our Information Literacy Director, Ben Waymouth, at bwaymouth@plymouth.k12.in.us and 574-936-2178 x1228.
