Red Ribbon Week

Menominee students will be celebrating National Red Ribbon Week October 23-27.

Red Ribbon was first celebrated in 1988 to honor drug enforcement agent, Kiki Camerena. Kiki died doing his job of keeping drugs from coming into our country. Menominee celebrates Red Ribbon Week each year to remember to live a healthy and drug-free life. Dress-up days are a fun way for students to think about making healthy choices for themselves and the people close to them.
