Lincoln’s 8th grade volleyball team traveled to Urey Middle School on Wednesday night to take on the Falcons. The Red Storm won the A Game by a score of 25-10, 25-7. Leading the way for Lincoln was Sara Hunter (12 for 12 serving with 3 aces) and Clare Sheedy
(15 for 17 serving with 8 aces). Olivia Newcomb was also a perfect 4 for 4 serving for the night. Chloe Holten was the big hitter in this game with 4 kills and 2 big blocks.
In the B Game, Lincoln fought hard to make it a close game - losing 18-25, 24-25. Leading servers in the game were Hannah Friberg (13 for 14 with 2 aces), Sarah Janney (5 for 7 with 1 ace), Erin Liedtky (5 for 6 with 1 ace), and Kami Burkett (5 for 6). Maddy Voreis was also a perfect 2 for 2 serving in the game.
