We hope everyone has had a great first week!

Each year, Lincoln Jr. High students come together for the One Book One School program, a beloved tradition that unites the entire school through the shared experience of reading the same book. This year’s selection is Percy Jackson & The Olympians!
Leading up to the big reveal, students were challenged with intriguing hints and riddles to guess the title, with the reveal itself being perfectly timed as an additional clue.
Today, the journey began with a special moment, as students watched a final reveal video made by staff, and unwrapped their books like presents.
They then dove into the first four chapters, and will continue exploring the book during Storm Time over the next few weeks. This immersive experience allows them to engage in meaningful discussions and dive deep into the captivating world of Percy Jackson like never before!
Pictured is Lydia Carroll’s class, excited to begin their reading adventure.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Sandra Sue (Pontius) Cartwright, a cherished member of our Plymouth Community School Corporation family. Sandy passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Sandy began her dedicated service with us in August 1998 and worked until her retirement in May 2023 as the Administrative Assistant and Treasurer at Lincoln Junior High School. Her commitment, kindness, and vibrant spirit left a lasting impact on students, staff, and the community.
Beyond her professional life, Sandy was a loving mother and grandmother who adored her family. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with loved ones, and sharing joy and laughter with all who knew her.
In honor of Sandy's legacy, her family has established a memorial fund through the Marshall County Community Foundation. Contributions to this fund will support scholarships for future graduates of Plymouth Community School Corporation. To donate, please visit [Sandy Cartwright Scholarship Fund](http://bit.ly/SandraCartwrightScholarship) or contact the foundation at 574-935-5159.
Sandy lived happily and loved deeply. We will forever cherish her memory and the positive influence she had on our community. Our thoughts and condolences go out to her family and friends during this difficult time.
