As the Board of School Trustees begins the process of selecting the next superintendent, your voice matters. Community feedback will help guide the search for the district’s next leader.

This week is National School Social Worker Week! 💙
We are so grateful for the incredible Social Workers at PCSC who step up for our students every single day. Their theme this year, “Unite to Ignite: Celebrating Our Impact,” perfectly captures the difference they make in our schools and community. We are grateful for all they do for our students!

Lincoln Junior High School administration was aware that some students had expressed interest in participating in a walkout.
In an abundance of precaution, we had staff monitoring students who chose to participate in the walkout. Our highest priority at all times is ensuring the safety and well-being of every student in our care.
Based on advisement from the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) regarding student conduct, attendance, and discipline, the department stressed that student safety and parental authority are the primary concerns. Specifically, any student leaving a school building must have explicit permission from their parent or guardian.
In alignment with this guidance, PCSC will continue to follow our adopted attendance and student conduct policies, with the safety of our students as the most important consideration. We appreciate the cooperation of our families and community as we work together to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.

Throwback to last Saturday's Dancing with the Stars hosted at Swan Lake Resort by the Marshall County Neighborhood Center. Our very own Bus Drivers participated and received the crowd favorite award! What an honor and great performance by our PCSC Family! The whole community was able to raise $177,800 and put on great performances!
The local DCS office is hosting a foster parent education night this week.
This event is to spread awareness that there is a need for foster parents in our community/surrounding areas. Open your heart, open your home!

Career & Technical Education at the Marshall County Career Innovation Center is opening doors — and students are stepping through them in record numbers.
📈 192% enrollment growth since 2021–22
👩🎓👨🎓 Student participation nearly doubled — from 197 to 378 students
🛠️ 6.5 new and expanded career pathways, including Automotive Technology, Building Trades, Entrepreneurship, CCMA, Veterinary Science, Advanced Manufacturing, and Fire & Rescue/EMT
These programs aren’t just classes — they’re career pathways, hands-on experiences, and industry-recognized credentials that prepare students for life after graduation.

Plymouth High School’s Riley Dance Marathon is happening February 13, from 8 AM–2 PM in the Varsity Gym — and we want the whole community involved!
This year: Riley Dance Marathon T-shirt sales are open to the entire Plymouth Community School Corporation AND all Marshall County out-of-corporation schools.
Shirts are $25, and half of every shirt sold goes directly to Riley Children’s Hospital. We’d love to see everyone wearing their shirts on February 13 in support of the kids!
