Basketball and Net Image
The Lady Storm team traveled to Triton to take on local rival Triton on Wednesday evening. Using tough defense and precision shooting, the team jumped out to an 18-1 lead after the first quarter.
Leading the Red Storm in scoring was Sara Hunter with 14 points, Clare Sheedy 10, Summer South 9, Lexi Rose added 8. Madie Mann chipped in 7, Lauren Rumpler had 4 while Hannah Friberg and Kami Burkett added 2 points each. Rumpler, Hunter and Rose did an excellent job running the offense and got the entire team involved on the offensive end. Sheedy dominated the glass during the game.
Next up, the Red Storm travels to Knox on Thursday. Game time will be 5:30 (Central). The win improves their record to 13-3 for the year.
