While students participated in an asynchronous eLearning day, our staff engaged in professional development. In the morning, EL Facilitator Ryan Ahlrich led a session for educators working with English Language Learners (ELL). The session focused on understanding current ELL policies and laws, analyzing the WIDA Framework and the "PCSC Can Do Model," and exploring effective classroom differentiation strategies to better support ELL students.

Today is an eLearning day at PHS. Because it is not weather related, students don't need to attend Google Meet classes. Students can find assignments on the eLearning Hub, along with the link to the Attendance Form. If you do not have internet have a parent contact Mrs. Vargas at 574-936-2178. https://bit.ly/3TxAHqF

27 of our outstanding Plymouth High School students have been awarded prestigious honors through the National Recognition Programs at College Board! These awards celebrate the academic achievements of students from rural/small town areas, African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Indigenous/Native American, and first-generation backgrounds. To earn this prestigious recognition, the students below needed to take the Fall 2023 PSAT/NMSQT or Spring PSAT 10 and score in the top 10% of test takers in their state. Alternatively, they could achieve a score of 3 or higher on two or more distinct AP exams in 9th or 10th grade. Additionally, they had to maintain a cumulative GPA of B+ or higher (at least 3.3) by the time of submission. Being nationally recognized helps students get recruited by colleges, showcases their academic excellence, and opens doors to new opportunities. Congratulations to these scholars!
