This year’s Día del Niño celebration and Marshall County Kids Expo will be combined into one exciting event! This collaborative effort promises a fun-filled day celebrating children, culture, and community resources.
What is Día del Niño?
Día del Niño, or "Children's Day," is a cherished tradition celebrated in many Latin American countries. This special day honors children and promotes their well-being through fun, learning, and cultural appreciation. PCSC is proud to bring this tradition to our community, providing a space where families can gather and celebrate our students in a meaningful way.
What is the Kids Expo?
The Marshall County Kids Expo is an annual event designed to connect families with information about local activities, camps, and services available for children throughout the summer and year-round. Attendees can explore opportunities in sports, arts, and education, ensuring parents are informed about enriching experiences for their kids.

-Information on camps, activities, and services available in Marshall County
-Free health services provided by the Marshall County Health Department, including physicals, hearing, vision, dental, and lead screenings
-Delicious food from local food trucks, including Chagos Tacos, Alegria Campestre, Pa'L Antojo, and Apex Ice

Date: Saturday, May 3, 2025
Time: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Congratulations to Allison Shook, President of the Plymouth Community School Corporation School Board, for being named School Board Member of the Year for 2024 by the Indiana School Boards Association (ISBA)! 🎉
Allie’s leadership and dedication to our schools and community have been truly transformative. From spearheading solar energy projects and redistricting efforts to advocating for PreK programs and launching the Marshall County Career Innovation Center, her impact has been far-reaching. We are proud to have her championing the future of our students.

While students participated in an asynchronous eLearning day, our staff engaged in professional development. In the morning, EL Facilitator Ryan Ahlrich led a session for educators working with English Language Learners (ELL). The session focused on understanding current ELL policies and laws, analyzing the WIDA Framework and the "PCSC Can Do Model," and exploring effective classroom differentiation strategies to better support ELL students.

Monday, September 16, 2024 is PCSC’s first scheduled asynchronous eLearning day of the school year.
