Webster Elementary School held its annual end of the school year Fun Fair on Friday May 4, 2018! The exact amount of the funds raised are still being tallied and will be announced at the upcoming Webster PTO meeting on May 15. Principal Carrie McGuire said, “We appreciate everyone who came out and placed bids on our silent auction items. We would also like to thank our dedicated staff who spent their Friday night selling snack food in the cafeteria during the event and helping PTO run stations, sell tickets, and assist with the silent auction. The photobooth and pictures with staff are always a favorite event that students look forward to each year.”

The event is hosted by the Webster PTO and McGuire said that proceeds raised will go directly towards field trips and convocations throughout the school year, books for the library, teacher stipends for decorations and/or classroom incentives.

The Fun Fair has been going strong for more than a decade and McGuire said it is an event that signifies the end of the school year is near. “This is one of our annual events the staff, students, and community look forward to it every year,” said McGuire.
