Field Trips, Bus Requests, and Student Activity Requisitions
For student activities (field trips, club activities, performances, rehearsals, etc.) outside the building during the school day, prior approval is necessary before the students are excused from class. Field trip request forms are to be submitted online through the PCSC website. All requests must include the stated purpose and objectives for such trips and be approved by your school principal. Field trips under the new State Guidelines must be an extension of the curriculum. Request should be made seven school days ahead of the scheduled event. In many cases, students will be charged a pro-rated fee which when added together, will cover the cost of fuel, the bus driver should one be necessary, and common maintenance charged associated with such trips.
