PHS Theatre Teacher Jane Faulstich is teaching her Tech Theater II stage crew students about stage lighting. PHS students are getting an up-close look at the stage lights and are learning how lights create dramatic changes during a performance. Mrs. Faulstich said a vital part of being part of an advanced technical stage crew is mastering stage lighting. Lighting is able to communicate emotions by using amount and color. Faulstich also said stage lighting is a practical way to increase attention in a play by providing a clear view from dozens to hundreds of rows away.
