This Thursday, Feb. 13, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. the Lincoln Jr. High cheerleaders will be hosting a benefit fundraiser at Ponderosa® Steakhouse for LJHS 7th grade student, Jaisyn Reese, who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. Jaisyn is currently receiving treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, and he is expected to be there for several weeks.
Ponderosa® Steakhouse owners Tom and Carolyn Blackburn said as soon as our LJHS cheerleaders approached them about this fundraiser they said yes right away. Tom Blackburn said their three children attended Plymouth schools and they are happy to donate 10% of the total amount patrons spend on Thursday to Jaisyn Reese. The donation slip is good whether folks dine in or place food orders to go by carryout all day long.
All you have to do is print off the attached coupon and give it to Ponderosa® when you dine in or carryout and 10% of your bill will go to the Reese family. During the evening hours our Lincoln cheerleaders will be helping to serve you. Mr. Blackburn also said they will have a donation jar inside the restaurant as well and anyone can make a donation to Jaisyn Reese and his family as well.
