Lincoln's 8th grade Red Storm football team had a tough game against Warsaw Edgewood last night that ended with Lincoln losing 44-14. Things didn't go Lincoln's way from the beginning as a turnover on the opening kick-off gave Warsaw the ball and great field position. Warsaw punched it in for a score to lead 8-0. Lincoln came back with a solid offensive drive to score to bring it 8-6. Warsaw was able to score two more times before halftime to pull away to a 22-6 lead. Lincoln had a few more turnovers that led to Warsaw scores to stretch it to a 44-6 score before Lincoln drove it down the field to score as time ran out. Lincoln will play Wawasee next Tuesday at Wawasee.
