The Teachers Credit Union (TCU) Plymouth High School January Teacher of the Month is Kasey James. Mrs. James received this award due to nominations submitted by her students. One student who nominated Mrs. James said, “I believe Mrs. James should be the teacher of the month because she is very hardworking, caring and is willing to give up her free time to help other students when they are struggling or don’t understand what is being taught. She is very organized and her teaching style is very smooth and straight forward. She always has a positive attitude and never lets anything bring her day down. She is very helpful and is such a great teacher and I truly believe she should be rewarded as teacher of the month.” Another student said, “She is very understanding of your situation, and is really helpful when you need help with homework.” The Teachers Credit Union PHS Teacher of the Month receives a $25 gift certificate to a restaurant of her choice.
