Brooke Busse Named Webster Elementary School Principal for 19-20 School Year

Brooke Busse has been named the principal of Webster Elementary School principal for the 19-20 school year. She has worked for Plymouth Community School Corporation for the past 13 years. In April of 2015, she was promoted to the corporation’s director of quality programs. In this capacity, she served as the director for federal and state grants for the school corporation. Prior to that role, Busse served for 2 ½ years as a PCSC instructional coach. She has also worked for 1 year as a Washington Discovery Academy WDA Title I teacher as well as WDA 2nd-grade teacher for 6 years.

Busse holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary education with a reading specialist license from Valparaiso University. She received a Master of Arts in curriculum and educational technology, along with a building-level administration certificate from Ball State University. Brooke and her husband Ryan have been married for 14 years, and they have two children; Haylee (12), will be in seventh grade at Lincoln Jr. High and Bryce (10), will be in fifth grade at Riverside Intermediate. In her spare time, Busse enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and attending her kids’ sporting events. She loves staying active by being a summer softball coach, a role she has held for the past 7 years.

Busse assumed her new position immediately after Tuesday’s PCSC school board meeting.
