Plymouth Summer Tennis Sign Ups

Sign ups for the summer tennis program will be Monday, May 6 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 7th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Plymouth High School - Door 7 (EAST DOORS - WSOI Entrance). Lessons will be held at beautiful Centennial Park at the Mary Beth Hunter Tennis Courts. There are classes for every age group and every level of player.

Costs - 6 weeks of programming - (Please make checks out to Plymouth Summer Tennis)

  • $60 - High school & Adult classes are $60.00
  • $50 - Junior high/Middle School classes are $50.00
  • $40 - Beginning/Intermediate Elementary and Pre K

Listed below is the summer schedule. Lessons will start Monday, June 10th and end with the Optimist City Tourney on July 22nd through July 25th. There will be no lessons the week of July 1st thru July 5th due to PHS moratorium week.

Monday & Wednesday

Elementary (1st-4th graders)
Intermediate – 9:00-10:00 a.m. (Can serve & rally a point)
Beginners – 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Middle School & Junior High –
Beginners -11:00-12:00 p.m. (5th-8th)
High School – (Incoming 9th graders and older)
All grade levels - 10:30-12:00 p.m.

Tuesday & Thursday

Adults (Ladies Class) – 9:00-10:30 a.m.
High School - 5:00-7:00 p.m. (TUESDAY ONLY)
Beginners (4, 5, & 6 years old) – 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Middle School & Jr. High (5th-8th graders)
Advanced/Intermediate – 10:30-12:00 p.m. (can serve, keep score, and play out points)

A special note to all 8th grade boys & girls planning on playing high school tennis: Start your practice early – PLAY SUMMER TENNIS. Boys’ practice will start, Monday, August 5th. As high school athletes, you must have an athletic physical on file in the PHS Athletic Office by Tuesday, June 19th. Don’t wait to get your physical or you may miss out on practice time. You must get these physicals scheduled with your primary physician or other local healthcare organization that provides physicals. There is a IHSAA Physical Form you will need to pick up in the PHS Athletic office.
