Charlotte Tyree

Charlotte Tyree has been with PCSC since 1992, and was at Wawasee HS for 8 years before that. She graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a BS in Education and majors in Speech and Theatre and a minor in English. She also has a Masters in Education as well as a Masters certification for teaching dual credit Speech and Communications classes. At PHS, Mrs. Tyree teaches the dual credit Public Speaking Comm 101 class along with Critical Thinking and Argumentation, which pairs with the dual credit class for a student’s senior year of English credits. She also team teaches Advanced Acting class. Speech and Theatre are Mrs. Tyree’s passions as she is also a play director, Musical/Variety Show director, coach of the nationally recognized PHS Speech and Debate Team, and the PHS Performing Arts Department Chair. With all of these responsibilities she does not have a lot of spare time, but she loves going out to eat with her husband and going to visit their children and grandchildren.
