PHS Sophomore Cameron Riddle Spends the Day at the Statehouse serving as Page Assisting Rep. Jack Jordan

Plymouth High School Sophomore Cameron Riddle and Triton High School Freshman Trent Barnhart participated in the Indiana House Page Program and spent the day at the Statehouse learning about our state legislature. The Page Program provides students 13 to 18 years of age the chance to come to the Statehouse and see a full day of legislative activity.

Along with visiting the capitol building and touring such locations as the governor's office, the chambers of the Indiana House and Senate and the Indiana Supreme Court, pages get the chance to witness floor sessions and committee meetings and help staff members.

Riddle and Barnhart assisted Representative Jack Jordan during the House Session by running messages. Rep. Jordan also gave them a behind the scenes tour of the Statehouse as well. He is from Bremen and represents Marshall and large portions of Fulton counties. This story was written by Plymouth High School Career Marketing junior Paytyn Dodson.
