During the monthly positive school award ceremony on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, the following students were recognized for helping to create a more positive environment at PHS during the months of December and January for either having perfect attendance, or for showing growth in the areas of academics, attendance, or timely arrivals to class. The awards are sponsored by First Federal Savings Bank, Teachers Credit Union, and 1st Source Bank who have all generously donated $10 each month for gift cards for the students. Lake City Bank also donates money to help support the awards program as well. Plymouth High School would like to thank all four sponsors for their generous help with these awards.

Plymouth High School would like to thank First Federal Savings Bank for their generosity to recognize award winners.
First Federal Savings Bank December Senior of the Month: McKenzie Scheetz
McKenzie Scheetz has been selected among the PHS administration and teachers as the PHS Student of the Month of December. McKenzie was nominated by Mrs. Keshena Hunter, the guidance secretary. Hunter said, “McKenzie helps tutor another student with his math several times a week and she is very patient and encouraging with him. McKenzie encourages him to do his best on his tests.”
First Federal Savings Bank December Junior of the Month: Celia “Cece” Robinson
Cece Robinson was elected Student of the Month for December. Cece was nominated by Mr. Jacob Singleton who said, “CeCe has done a fantastic job of raising money for the Special Olympics. As her sponsor, it has been incredible to see all her hard work and all the time she has put towards this goal. She has planned all of the fundraisers and put on an amazing basketball camp for our special needs students.”
First Federal Savings Bank December Sophomore of the Month: Tyler Derifield
Tyler Derifield was selected as the sophomore Student of the Month for December. He was nominated by Mrs. Lindsay Rogers who said, “Tyler always comes to class prepared and ready to learn. He is done this consistently throughout the school year. He is also willing to help others with questions during class. I would love to have more students like Tyler!”
First Federal Savings Bank December Freshman of the Month: Bradie Naylor
Bradie Naylor was selected as the freshman Student of the Month for December. She was nominated by Ms. Brittany Hull who said, “Bradie has really stepped up this quarter both in her academic work as well as helping her classmates out. She stepped up to work with a student who didn't have a partner as well as being courteous to everyone in class. She holds doors open, she helps clean up, etc.”
This important monthly award is sponsored by First Federal Savings Bank. The bank generously donates $10 each month for a gift card for each one of the four award recipients.
