Webster teachers went above and beyond for Read Across America Week to engage students in why reading is so very important! Each grade level teacher spent around 15 minutes in the grade level below so students can meet the teachers they may have next year, and kindergarten teachers visited the 4th grade students. The National Education Association program Read Across America is in its 20th year. The program is now year-round and it focuses on motivating children and teens to read through events, partnerships, and reading resources. Great job Webster staff for a successful dress as a book character day.
