Starting on February 14 and continuing through March 14, 2012, public elementary schools across the United States will be eligible to participate in an exciting reading challenge on We Give Books! We're doing just what our name suggests: giving away books - 150,000 of them, to be exact - to schools nationwide.

Earning free books for your school is fun and easy!

1. Just visit our site, www.wegivebooks.org. Starting on February 14 you'll be able to sign up to read on behalf of the Read for My School campaign. You’ll want to practice reading on We Give Books beforehand to make sure that you’re ready to read and earn for your school when the campaign begins.

2. Enter your school name on the registration form so that we can track the number of books that your school earns. If you're already a member of We Give Books, please visit your member profile and enter your school name (Login > Settings > Country > School Name) before reading for the Read for My School campaign.

3. Choose a great children's book and read! Click "Give a Book" at the end of the story to be counted toward your school’s reading total.

4. Spread the word: Encourage friends and family members to participate and earn even more books for your school!

Recreational Soccer. If your child wishes to play in the spring, you must attend one of the registration dates or
print off the registration form from our website: www.leaguelineup.com/plymouthsoccer and mail it in with
payment. Any registrations received or postmarked after Jan. 30, 2012 will be charged a late fee of $10.

On Wednesday, January 11 at 8:00 AM, the Washington Discovery Academy will start taking applications. Online applications are available on the Plymouth Community School Corporation web site as well as the Washington Elementary School and the Washington Discovery Academy page. If you aren't able to apply online, paper and pencil applications are available at the four elementary schools as well as the Plymouth Administration Building. Take a hand in how your child learns. If Project Based Learning appeals to you, Washington Discovery Academy is the place for your children. This academy is a tuition-free school of choice!
