Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Here are some interesting facts about the day from Plymouth High School student Angie Busse, a senior enrolled in Interactive Media Marketing. St Patrick's Day is not a federal holiday in the United States. The day was started as a religious feast day for the patron Saint of Ireland. Now it has become an International day of celebrating Irish culture. We best celebrate this day in the U.S. by wearing green, having festive meals, and holding parades.
