Plymouth FFA Competes in the District 2 FFA Leadership Contest

On Thursday, March 15, the Plymouth FFA traveled to Warsaw Edgewood Middle School to compete in the District 2 FFA Leadership Contest. PHS Senior, Austin Bachtel came home with the District 2 Star in Agribusiness award related to starting his own lawn mowing business, AB Lawn Care. Annastasia Hutchings, an 8th grader, won first place in the Discovery Degree FFA Creed Speaking contest.   

Also competing for Plymouth were FFA members: Cameron Riddle in Agricultural Sales Demonstration, Brieanna Slonaker in Job Interview, and Allena Peacock in Essay.  The team of Allena Peacock, Cameron Riddle, and Karter Early competed in the quiz bowl contest.

Austin and Annastasia will get to continue on in the state competition at the Indiana FFA Convention in June at Purdue University in West Lafayette.
