On Saturday, February 3rd, the 7th grade Lady Red Storm traveled to Thomas Jefferson Middle School to participate in a 4 team tourney. The girls took on Colonel Wheeler in the first game coming up with a strong victory winning 25-21. The team did well working the ball around and became much more confident with the basketball on the offensive side of the ball. Dragani was top scorer with 11 points followed by Taylor Delp with 7. In the championship game, the Red Storm took on the home team from TJMS. They came out strong right out of the gate and put them away winning 34-17. It was solid offensive effort with 6 girls finding the basket. Kylee Gaines finished as high scorer with 8 followed by Dragani with 7, Delp and Hopple with 6, Bird with 5, and Jones with 2. The team looks to continue to grow this Thursday when they take on the Lancers from LaVille.
