The Lincoln 8th grade boys basketball team traveled to Tippy Valley to play on Wednesday night. The A team started strong but struggled late in the game, finishing with a loss and final score of 61-37. Leading scorers for the A team included David Schadek with 13 points and Colin Chupp with 11 points. Tanner, Lennon, Logan, and Seth each contributed with offensive points. The B team had their first game of the season. The B team had a very strong performance and came away with a win and final score of 54-19. Offensive scoring included Blake Bowling with 17 points, Gil Stanton with 15, Matt Mazuk with 11, DeVante Garcia with 6, and Cristian Quintana with 5 points. Morgan Tharp and William Kingston had a strong defensive performance with several steals! The 8th grade boys are up next on Saturday at the Northwood Invitational.
