The Plymouth High School Speech and Debate Team will be holding its annual showcase this Friday, May 18, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Studio Theatre. This event is open to students, faculty, and the community. The PHS Speech Showcase is two-fold. It provides an opportunity for PHS students who have qualified to represent northern Indiana for the 2018 National Speech & Debate Tournament in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this June, a chance to perform in front of their peers, family, teachers, and community. Second, it is an opportunity for these students to raise funds to go towards the cost of attending nationals. If you plan on attending the Speech and Debate Showcase this Friday, park in the north parking lot and enter at door 5. Admission to the PHS Showcase is free; doors open at 6:30 p.m. However, donations will be accepted to defray national trip expenses. Any donations received will be used for nationals in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in June.
