Boy did we all have fun this week eating together at Ponderosa -- it's neat to meet our student's families and the kids seem to like seeing teachers and staff out of their natural habitat. Plus, why not help a local business AND the school. Total sales for the night were about $1,700 (we Jets can EAT, huh?) and manager Tom Blackburne is rounding up and giving us an even $200. PTO funds are hard to come by, but they do so much for the school. Thanks to all the Jets families for joining us! What a great place to be!
You asked, we answer. This unsuspecting little guy is lurking on the side of your pizza and cheese bread boxes -- he's even perforated for easy removal. Send them in with your kids -- once we get 100, we get a pizza party! We only have about 25 now, so KEEP SAVING JETS! It's for a good cause (the students) and supports a local business!
Everyone likes a good buffet and that's why we're having another fun Pondo Night for Jefferson Tuesday, Jan. 24. Come eat dinner with the teachers. Ponderosa is giving the Jefferson Parent Teacher Organization 10 percent of purchases from 4-8:30 p.m. Kids 7-years-old and younger EAT FREE! Eight to 12-year-olds only pay $1.99!

We had such great success last year with our Martin's Coupon Books we're doing it again. For a $5 donation you get great $1 coupons for Martin's. Read the flier to learn more! Friday, Jan. 27th, look for a large yellow envelope to come home with your child. Each envelope will have three coupon books in it. More books can be requested early by filling out the form below, or as needed during the following two weeks.
We ask that any unsold books be returned as soon as possible so we can pass them on to those who need more.
PTO raises funds to provide Jefferson teachers, classrooms, and students with resources and supplies throughout the year, as well as funding a variety of events and activities that are open to ail of our students.
We need your help to make these things possible and appreciate your time and participation.

Great news Jefferson families -- more than 40 fliers were turned in to our Plymouth Caesars Wednesday. That means 40 families enjoyed a nice, inexpensive treat for the sake of the school Jan. 18. They sold $638.83 to us and we get a check for $64. Thanks so much.
Remember, if you still have the cardboard box the pizza and cheese bread comes in, send in the proof of purchase with your student. If we get 100 we get a pizza party. The store also gave us coupons for free bread sticks which will be using as incentives for the Young Author Writing Contest coming up next month! Thanks Little Caesars!

Please help us out from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 18 by getting dinner at Little Ceasars in Plymouth. Mark your calendar. The Pizza! Pizza! guy will come at the end of the day and hand out fliers. Plus you can download and print them here.
Ten percent of the sales from people who BRING IN THE FLIER will be donated to the school. This flier must be presented so don’t forget it!
Tell your family and friends to come support your school. Little Caesars mascot will be making an appearance at the store that evening, come get your cookies and other goodies for free!
The Jefferson PTO meets at 5:30 pmin the school cafeteria, the second Monday every month. EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to attend -- this is where families decide the future of Jefferson.
