If you give Mrs. Mills a motorcycle, she'll want you to read a book with her! As a reward for hitting all our Book Fair goals, Mrs. Mills rode her Harley through the circle drive Friday morning after we said the Pledge of Allegiance and sang the Star Spangled Banner as part of our weekly ritual. Just goes to show Jefferson staff will do whatever it takes to promote excellence in reading!

Jefferson made more than $1,000 during the book fair this year for our school. It sure was crowded, but grand parents and great caregivers on great persons day, parents and friends on parent-teacher conference nights and kids with their saved funds during lunch and recess made this one of the best fundraisers for the Jefferson library! Thanks for all your support and remember to read a book today! Since we made it to our goal..... Mrs. Mills will be riding up to the flagpole on a motorcycle this week for Friday at the Flag

Book Fair is going on now! You can send in money with your children, stop by before or after school, during Grandparent's Day or during your parent-teacher conference time! Lots to chose from. If we sell 1,000 actual books (erasers don't count!) Mrs. Mills will ride her motorcycle through the front drive. (Last year we sold 923.) Debit and credit cards and checks accepted.
