Add Comment Jefferson Night at PHS!11/16/2011  Dear Jefferson Families, Show your pride and wear your Jefferson gear to the girls' home varsity basketball game 6 p.m. Nov. 17 at Plymouth High School -- enter through the north doors. Come support the Lady Pilgrims as they take on the Triton Lady Trojans. Each Jefferson received a ticket from their teacher. With an adult, this ticket will let students enter the game for free. The ticket will also be put into a drawing to win prizes and participation in activities. The Jefferson school choir will singing the national anthem and the 4th grade girls basketball team will be introduced at half time. Bring your family and come and join us for a fun night of basketball! Hope to see you there! Mrs. Mills Principal Jefferson Elementary Change in K-3 Boys Basketball11/15/2011  Due to Boys H.S. practice beginning and huge numbers with the K-3 League, we have had to make an adjustment to our schedule for the remaining three workouts. We will give each kid tonight a copy of this form. This is for only boys in grades K-3. Dates (these stay the same from our original schedule) NOV. 10 NOV. 15 NOV. 17 GRADES K-1 WILL NOW PLAY FROM 6-7 p.m. AT MENOMINEE ELEM. SCHOOL INSTEAD OF 5-6 p.m. (THEIR TIME SLOT CHANGES BUT LOCATION OF MENOMINEE STAYS THE SAME). GRADES 2-3 WILL NOW PLAY AT WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FROM 6:15-7:30 p.m. (THEIR TIME SLOT STAYS THE SAME BUT LOCATION CHANGES FROM MENOMINEE TO WASHINGTON). The staggered time slots should allow parents to drop off and pick up their kids on time if they have boys in both locations.  Fourth grade boys who want to play on the Jefferson team should meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18 in the Jefferson gym to practice. Your coach is Mr. Morwood.  The Plymouth Boys Basketball program is running its first Kindergarten through 3rd grade Plymouth Youth Boys Winter Basketball League. Each participant will be taught fundamental skills of the game and also have opportunities to play games. During the games, score is not be kept as we are trying to focus more on fundamentals and team play rather than wins or losses. Please see the attached flier for more details.
 Jefferson's own girls' basketball team practices from 6 to 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday in the Jefferson gym -- with our new floor!
