Tonight will be the first Student Lead Parent-Teacher Conferences in the history of PHS. The conferences will run from 6-8 pm and will have 2 phases. In phase 1, students will meet with their parents in the cafeteria and the students will lead the parents through a presentation they have prepared on their MacBook Pro that shows the parents how the student has done in class, and what they believe their strengths and weaknesses to be. After this initial conference, parents and students can circulate through the building to meet with individual teachers.
With this in mind, today we would like to highlight a student assignment from the first 6 weeks from one of our business classes taught by Mrs. Felke. In this project based learning assignment, students created a Virtual Vacation and then presented this vacation to their classmates in the form of a video or website.
