There will be a summer volleyball informational meeting at Plymouth High School in the main gym on Wednesday, April 25th, 7:30 – 8:15 pm, for 4th through 12th grade. Players along with their parents are encouraged to attend this meeting to fill out forms for the Plymouth Volleyball Summer Camp, the high school Munciana Camp, and meet Coach, Doug West, and his coaching staff.  


 
 
On Saturday, March 3 the PHS Gymnastics team traveled to Wawasee for the Wawasee Gymnastics Sectional.  The Lady Pilgrims finished third behind second place Angola HS  and Sectional Champion Dekalb.  The third place finish ensured the team of a place in the Gymnastics Regional next Saturday at Valparaiso.  
In addition to qualifying as a team, Freshman Cassie Quissell and Sophomore Nicole Davis advanced in individual events by placing in the top six.  Both Davis and Quissell advanced in the Vault with 5th and 3rd places respectively.  Davis also qualified in the Floor Exercise with at 6th place finish and Quissell in the Uneven Beam (4th) and the All Around Competition (5th).

The Pilgrims take on the Wawasee Warriors in a make up game from earlier in January tonight and honor our senior players, manager, and cheerleaders at 7:30 PM on The Rock.

The number 1 Doubles Team of Connor Flynn and Jordan Scheetz advanced to the state finals at Park Tudor High School in Indianapolis.  Their match will begin today at 2 pm.  The two gentlemen advances by winning the LaPorte Regional last Saturday.  During that competition they defeated a team from Wheeler in 2 sets 7-5, 7-5.  They then won the regional by defeating a team from DeKalb in 3 sets 6-4, 2-6, 6-3.  Today they will play a team from Delta.  If they win today they will advance to the State Semi-Finals at 10 AM on Saturday.  Connor and Jordan currently have a record of 16-5.

The JV Volleyball team emerged victorious on Saturday at the Plymouth JV Volleyball Tournament.  The Lady Pilgrims defeated Andrean in the Championship Match Rallying after dropping the first game to win the next two.  

In the final game the ladies overcame a 2 point deficit at 11-13 to rally for a 14-13 lead.  Then with the match tied at 14 they won the final point to take home the title. 
The JV, and Varsity Volleyball teams will return to action at home on Tuesday evening against LaVille and then on Thursday against Culver. Both matches start at 6 pm.
The Varsity will host their Powerball Volleyball Tourney next Saturday beginning at 9 AM.
