The PHS Theatre Department is presenting the always fun children's play, Doctor Dolittle, this weekend in the PHS Auditorium. Shows are Friday, November 2nd, at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, November 3rd, at 2:00 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m., and Sunday, November 4th, at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $3.00 for anyone 12 and under and $4.00 for everyone else. Doors open 30 minutes before each show for festival seating and tickets may be purchased at the door.
The children's show is a highlight of the theatre program at PHS and is an annual event that was started back in 1979. Over 130 students are involved in the show and so there are actually two casts. The Red cast and crew will perform on Friday night and Saturday afternoon and the White cast and crew will perform on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Also, don't forget that Daylight Savings Time ends early Sunday so be sure to set your clocks when you go to bed on Saturday night.
