Last week Amy Schmeltz took the high school's Spell Bowl Team to a second place finish at the state tournament. Amy got home from West Lafayette with just enough time to tell her husband, Dan, good-bye. Dan then traveled to the HECC Conference in Indianapolis where he presented a full-day symposium on the technical side of Moodle. Dan was also presented with the HECC Annual HERO Award.  This award is given to a tech colleague who has unselfishly helped resolve technology issues in another school corporation.  Plymouth Schools is so fortunate to have this husband and wife team employed in Plymouth Schools. Thanks for everything you do!

Proposed Boundaries
Plymouth Community School Corporation will be adjusting boundaries for our elementary schools to ensure that Title I services are available for all four elementary schools.  In addition, a walking district for Washington Discovery Academy is being proposed.  The school corporation has hired a demographer, Dr. Jerome McKibben, create plans for both projects. On November 16, Dr. McKibben presented his first map of the new districts. The current map and the proposed map are presented on this site. Please study them to see if it affects your family. We want to make sure everyone is informed. In addition, Dr. McKibben will return to Plymouth on Wednesday, December 12 to present a tentative final plan. He will explain his plan to the public at Menominee Elementary School's cafeteria at 6:30 pm at in open meeting
