Ford + Box Tops helps drive dollars to Washington.  Visit  FordDrivesBoxTops.com and login with your Box Tops username & password or signup to register.  Watching 5 videos will earn 25 eBox Tops and requesting a brochure earns 10 eBox Tops.  It's that simple!  Spread the word and help us earn money for our Schoool.  For additional information, check out the flyer from Ford.
 

Free Book Winners!

Congratulations to  Anthony (Mrs. Poor's Class), Maddy (Mrs. Hoover's Class) and Dylan (Mrs. George's Class).  They visited the bookfair during Family Night and were entered into the drawing for a free book.  The winners each selected a book from our bookfair.  Thank You to all who visited and supported our fundraiser.  This fundraiser allows us to purchase many new books for our library.
 

Papa John's Peeler Card Fundraiser

The Papa John's Peeler Card Fundraiser is going on now. The card sells for $10 and is valid through December 31, 2011. (The Plymouth Papa Johns will honor the card through June 30, 2012) Peel-off coupons include: 1 free large Pizza and 15 additional buy 1 get 1 offers. Sales conclude on October 17th. The class that sells the most will receive a pizza party. The student that sells the most will receive a Walmart Gift Card.  Funds raised will be used for the Awards Day celebrations and other PTO activities and programs.
 

Scholastic Book Fair Coming Soon!

We will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair in our Washington School Library October 3rd to October 7th.  Students will have the opportunity to visit the book fair during their weekly library time.  Monday - Thursday we will be open afterschool until 3:45 pm.   Join us during family night on Thursday, October 6th from 5-7pm.  All students who visit the bookfair during family night can enter our drawing for a free book.  The book fair will also be open during the VIP day on Friday.  The book fair is a fundraiser to help purchase additional resources for our school library.  Check out our bookfair page online at http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/washelemschool.

Martin's Advantages for Education program is underway.  Sign up at Martin's Customer Service counter or online at www.martins-supermarkets.com.  Our School ID number is 3919.  Once registered, each scan of your Martin's Advantage card will help our school earn FREE educational awards.

Can be sent in to the school.  These are used to purchase items for our school that students use daily, such as playground balls, jump ropes, etc...

Also, if parents or other family members go to Target, proceeds from their purchase can go to our school.  All the parent/guardian needs to do is request that their proceeds go to Washington School.
