Students had fun participating in a penny war.  They ended up raising $486.03 for United Way!  Students in 2nd grade presented United Way Chair, Chad Dreibelbis, a check for their contribution.  The 2nd Grade won the Penny War, but the 1st Grade will also receive a reward for bringing in the most pennies.  ($94.02)  These classes will get their reward after Winter Break.

_First Grade took a trip to Miller's Merry Manor to spread holiday cheer and donate some much needed items. Students caroled through the halls, shared homemade ornaments, and passed out Christmas Cards. They also visited with the resident while enjoying some juice and cookies.  A great time was had by all! Thank you to the residents and directors at Miller's Merry Manor!
