Book Fair is coming to Riverside!03/19/2012 Our annual book fair is coming to Riverside from April 9-April 16th. Also, for your convenience you can also shop on-line and the items will be sent to the school for free. All you would need to do is pay by credit card on the website. We will have a family night on Monday, April 9th from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and also one on Monday, April 16th from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Our book fair website can be assessed at http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bookfairs/cptoolkit/homepage.do?method=homepage&url=riversideinter.school We are also asking for parent volunteers. You can also purchase books to donate to your classroom Riverside Intermediate School's Celebration03/16/2012 "Riverside Intermediate School celebrated their selection as an Indiana "School to Watch" with an awards program on Friday, March 16th at 1:00 P.M. in the school gym. The school was presented with a recognition banner by Ms. Shirley Wright, the Director of the Indiana Middle Level Education Association, and Dr. Tony Bennett, Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction. Other dignitaries such as Plymouth Schools Superintendent, Dan Tyree, and Gerald Mohr, Executive Director of the Indiana Association of School Principals, also shared congratulatory remarks with the staff and students at Riverside." It is Report Card Time!03/15/2012 Report cards for the third quarter will be going home in Monday folders. Achieve 3000 Kindle winner!03/15/2012 Victoria Holland was the Kindle winner for quarter 3. Students who participate in the Achieve 3000 expectation of completing 3 articles per week are given tickets. At the end of each nine weeks, a winner is drawn. Congratulations to the sixth grade students who are completing their assignments. Victoria is a sixth grade student at Riverside Intermediate School. P.T.O. Ecology Club saving caps for other schools!02/28/2012 Please keep recycling! We have been asked to help out our other Plymouth Schools to get benches of their own. Webster, Jefferson, and St. Michaels are collecting and they need our help. Please continue to keep caps out of our landfills and help others at the same time. Read Across America on March 2nd!02/13/2012 In honor of Dr. Seuss and his birthday on March 2nd, Renaissance is having a Read the Most from Coast to Coast program. We will be opening up the fifth grade computer lab that morning before school starts, so students can take their tests early if they'd like.
